EDITS

Services

Three engagements, each with an end.

Every one is fixed in scope and quoted as a flat fee after a free twenty-minute call. You will know what you are getting and what it costs before anything begins.

The Access Review

A structured look at who can get into what.

Every account, every administrator right, every application, and every person who left in 2023 and still has a working login. Plus how multi-factor authentication is actually covered and how passwords actually get handled — not how the policy says they do.

Remote, about a week of calendar time. Nothing in your systems gets changed: this is a review, not a project.

What you get
  • A written findings report, ranked by risk, in plain language
  • A prioritised fix list you keep — whether or not I do the fixing
  • A thirty-minute walkthrough so the report is understood, not filed

Access Cleanup

Doing what the review found.

Multi-factor authentication rolled out properly, a conditional access baseline, administrator accounts separated from daily accounts, a password manager your people will actually use, and a written process for joiners, movers and leavers.

Two to four weeks, scoped from the review findings so we both know what we are agreeing to before it starts.

What you get
  • The changes made, in a sequence that does not lock anyone out
  • A one-page runbook you keep, so next time you can do it in-house
  • A short handover call with whoever will own it

Standing Access Check

Quarterly, because access drifts.

New starters, quiet departures, an application somebody signed up for, multi-factor authentication switched off for one person during a bad week and never switched back on. Access decays. Quarterly is the rhythm that matches how fast it actually moves.

A short engagement four times a year rather than a retainer — you are buying a specific review on a known date, not general availability.

What you get
  • A drift report against the last review
  • Anything new that needs attention, ranked
  • A short call each quarter

How it works

  1. 1

    Information gathering

A conversation about what the business runs on, who works there, and what has already gone wrong or nearly gone wrong. Enough to build a working picture.

  2. 2

    Scope and quote

A written scope and a flat fee. If the honest answer is that you do not need me yet, you will get that instead.

  3. 3

    Implementation

The work, on the agreed schedule, with a deliverable you keep at the end of it.

What EDITS does not do

No twenty-four-hour help desk, no on-call rota, no break-fix contracts. This is deliberate. A promise of constant availability is one I would not keep, and you are better served by a firm that makes that its whole business.
